About Jordan
I work with young people and adults in a casual, respectful and collaborative way. Humour is welcome, silence is okay, and nobody is expected to have the perfect words ready.
My approach draws on cognitive behavioural therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. We explore the thoughts and feelings beneath behaviour, build practical strategies and help young people understand themselves with less judgement.
Parents and carers are kept appropriately informed while the young person’s privacy, dignity and growing independence remain important.

My aim isn't to fix people, but to help them understand themselves, to feel less alone in what they are experiencing and to find ways forward that genuinely fit.
Frequently asked questions
I work with adolescents, teenagers, young adults and adults. I often work with neurodivergent people, those experiencing difficulties within mainstream education, and people looking to better understand themselves, their emotions and the way they navigate everyday life.
Parents/carers are more than welcome to join, however, it is not a requirement as most sessions are one-on-one unless organised otherwise.
Privacy is important. Limits apply where there is a serious safety concern, abuse or another legal or ethical obligation. These limits are explained clearly during the introductory conversation.
Reluctance is understandable. The first priority is developing enough comfort and trust for honest conversation. Nobody is expected to disclose everything immediately.
No. In an immediate emergency, call 000. Lifeline is available on 13 11 14 and Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800.
